Over the past few years, the Florida Department of Citrus has noticed a sharp decline in sales of orange juice, as well as other Florida citrus products. The following is just one solution to this problem.
To begin the damage control, I have created a special FDC juicer, which is activated by the stickers placed on true Florida citrus fruits.
The juicer will be placed in a variety of locations. A permanent location will be within high-end supermarkets, such as Whole Foods. A trained juicer will assist customers with creating their own unique Florida citrus beverages to take home in branded recycled glass containers.
Traveling juice carts will appear in shopping malls, airports, fitness centers, cruise ship ports, and other areas of interest within the state. These juice carts will aim to entice both visitors and residents of Florida with refreshing, 100% pure treats from the “homeland”.
Orange-Grapefruit and Lemon-Lime carts will offer a variety of mix-ins to complement the citrus fruits’ natural flavors.
A percentage of the juice cart’s proceeds will go toward a scholarship fund for the children of the many migrant workers who help make the FDC a reality.
